The 1925 Newport City Hall Fire | A Century Later 🔥

On Thursday, March 20, 2025, just days before the 100th anniversary of the devastating March 24, 1925, fire at Newport City Hall, Fire Chief Humphrey J. “Harp” Donnelly IV will recount the tragic events that led to the destruction of the building’s third floor and the loss of Fire Captain John Malloy, Newport’s oldest active firefighter at the time.
