Rough Point opens its gates on Saturday, August 9 for the second Dog’s Day Out at “Ruff” Point, held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM in partnership with the Potter League for Animals. Pups can strike a pose at the photo booth, sample complimentary treats, and explore a pet-focused boutique market while their humans mingle.
Admission is free, with a suggested $5 donation that supports both the Newport Restoration Foundation and the Potter League’s work in preservation and animal welfare. Leashed dogs are welcome on the grounds, and service dogs may accompany guests inside the museum. Advance registration is appreciated.
