Citizens Pell Bridge Run — 12th Running

The 12th running of the Citizens Pell Bridge Run is scheduled for Sunday, October 19th 2025. The point to point course starts in Jamestown and finishes in downtown Newport. It welcomes runners and walkers of all ages and speeds.
This four mile road race and walk is the only day each year when pedestrians may cross the Newport Pell Bridge. One hundred percent of net proceeds support local nonprofit organizations through the Rhode Island Turnpike and Bridge Foundation.
