Newport Vineyards welcomes families and holiday shoppers for its annual Holiday Extravaganza on Friday, December 5th. From 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM, the property turns into a lively winter celebration featuring tastings, live entertainment, seasonal food offerings, and activities for kids.
Each admission includes a choice of five wine or beer tastings, with Pete LeGrange and The Ghost Riders providing festive music throughout the evening. Santa will be on site from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM for meet and greets and photo opportunities. Guests wishing to take a picture with Santa are encouraged to bring an unwrapped children’s gift, which will be donated to the MLK Community Center. Young visitors can also enjoy a complimentary kids’ area with holiday games and a “Mail to the North Pole” station.
Food stations will offer hot cocoa, cookies, and a selection of seasonal dishes for purchase. Shoppers will find the vineyard’s biggest wine discount of the year, with 20 percent savings on all 12 bottle wine cases available that day only, as well as a marketplace featuring gifts, accessories, and items from local artisans. The event is primarily indoors with access to outdoor fire pits, and advance ticket purchase is recommended since walk in availability depends on capacity. Guests can also extend their visit by reserving a table for lunch at The Overlook restaurant before the event begins.
