The Newport Winter 10K invites runners to experience Ocean Drive during a whole new season, offering a crisp and scenic December route along the coastline. The inaugural race will be held on Sunday, December 7th, starting at 10:00 AM at Brenton Point State Park, where both the starting line and finish line are located.
Participants will follow a clockwise course around Ocean Drive, giving the familiar waterfront stretch a fresh perspective in winter. Every runner will receive a finisher’s medal along with a race branded winter beanie, with final designs to be announced. The event proudly supports the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center, adding a community minded mission to this festive new race.
