October 2, 2025 from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm
Step into colonial era Newport on a guided tour of two historic burial grounds at Island Cemetery and Trinity Churchyard. Admission is 15 dollars per person.

Wine Tasting: Tour of Italy on Goat Island

October 2, 2025 from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm
The First Thursdays Wine Tasting Series at Newport Harbor Island Resort features curated Italian selections led by the in house sommelier. Admission is 45 dollars per person.

Norman Bird Sanctuary 51st Harvest Fair

October 4 to October 5, 2025
A beloved Aquidneck Island tradition returns with sack races, the Home and Garden Competition, the Crafters Tent, live music, and more. A two day celebration for all ages.

The Spirits of Island Cemetery

October 4, 2025 with start times at 1:00 pm, 2:00 pm, and 3:00 pm
Costumed interpreters bring notable Newport figures to life during a 1.5 hour walk that begins at the Warner Street entrance and ends at Belmont Chapel. Adult tickets are 30 dollars. Tickets for ages 5 to 12 are 15 dollars.

Newport Car Museum “Hoods up!” Weekend

October 5, 2025 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
On the second weekend of each month, more than 100 cars are displayed with engines visible across seven galleries. Free parking is available. The museum is open daily from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Sunday Live Music, Oysters and Rose at Newport Vineyards

October 5, 2025 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Settle in for live music with local oysters and a glass of rose with purchase. Oysters are 3 dollars each, 15 dollars for 6, or 25 dollars for 12. A glass of rose is 5 dollars with oyster purchase. Admission is free to listen.
